Block of the Quarter update
These photos of the two quilts shown here were made from the September Block of the Quarter pattern and will be given to the Women’s Refuge Centre. Thank you to all members who donated their blocks for these quilts.
The December Block of the Quarter will be the final Block of the Quarter for the time being. It has been an enjoyable way for members to contribute to the Community Quilts Program.
However, to turn the blocks into fully completed quilts requires some time and effort and a huge thank-you goes to Pam P, Irene A and Rosemary R for their support in this process. The quilts would not have been fully completed without your generosity and help.
Thank you to those members who also generously donated their time – and fabric! – to making the blocks for the quilts. It has been gratifying to know that this program has donated quilts to the community.
