Illawarra Quilters offers a wide variety of workshops each year with local and visiting tutors which members are encouraged to participate in.

Times and venue details can be found on individual Workshop pages. Members are asked to arrive 30 minutes earlier to help set up the venue and your work station. Morning tea is provided, BYO lunch and mug. All participants are asked to help clean up the venue and kitchen after the activity.

Get the kit and learn how to make two handy cases to store and carry your quilting tools, art supplies, knitting needles etc. Quick, easy and great for gifts.

Increase your skills and learn how to use Triangles in a variety of ways. Revise the basics of accurate rotary cutting. Learn machine piecing techniques while making accurate Half Square and Quarter Square Triangle blocks. Learn how these units can be used to create a variety of quick pieced blocks. Learn how the units can be used as settings, borders etc.

Attend the first day or both days and complete your version of “Hurtling Through Time”

Day 1 – Learn how to use the 10 degree wedge ruler, to design and make your version of Grace’s fabulous graphic quilt.

Day 2 - Draw up a foundation pieced centre or use fabric or appliqué to add that wow factor.
