Ongoing/regular Activities
Meetings and activities are slowly re-starting but with conditions
Ordinarily there are a number of regular sewing and meeting days each month. From June 2020 some sewing days are re-starting but with strict conditions and limits on the number of participants. Registrations are essential. The Home page has the most up-to-date information.

Courthouse Quilters
When: Thursdays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (not over the Christmas/New Year period)
Where: Old Courthouse, Belmore Basin
What: This is an opportunity for members to sit and handsew and enjoy each others company in delightful surroundings. Bring your lunch and mug - tea and coffee are provided.
Cost: $3 which helps towards the hall rental.
Fabric Art Playdays
When: Second Tuesday each month (except January) from 10:00 am - 2 :00 pm.
Where: held in a member's home
What: The group experiments with different techniques and mediums using textiles. The size of the group is limited as Playdays are held in a member's home.
Cost: varies depending on the technique
Friendship Days
When: First and third Wednesday of the month from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (days may vary over the Christmas/New Year period)
Where: Corrimal Community Church, 9 Augusta Street, East Corrimal
What: This is a time for members to get together, bring along their projects, work together on community projects, chat and exchange ideas and tips. Bring your lunch and mug - tea and coffee are supplied.
Cost: $5 which helps towards the hall rental.
Library
When: At all regular activities
Where: Corrimal Community Church Hall
What: Members are encouraged to borrow from our well-stocked library of books and magazines which cover every aspect of patchwork and quilting techniques. A current catalogue of the library books is available on the Library page which is available to Members Only .
Cost: Free to members
Monthly Committee Meetings
When: Last Monday of the month (except January) at 9:30am
Where: Corrimal Community Church, 9 Augusta Street, East Corrimal
What: Members are welcome to attend.
Cost: None
Monthly General Meetings
When: Second Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm (except January)
Where: Keiraview Uniting Church, Fisher Street, West Wollongong
What: Our meetings are a time of friendship and sharing our love of patchwork and quilting. After general business, the highlight of the night is the Show and Share, a great inspiration for learning and creativity for everyone.
We endeavour to have a guest speaker each month and the evening finishes with the Lucky Door Prizes.
Cost: $2 which helps towards the hall rental.
Saturday Sit, Sew and Share
When: First and third Saturday of the month from 10:00 - 3:00 pm (days may vary over the Christmas/New Year period)
Where: Corrimal Community Church, 9 Augusta Street, East Corrimal
What: This is an opportunity for members who may not be able to join the activities on week days to sit and sew and share ideas and techniques. Bring your machine or handwork and come along and join us for a relaxing day. Also bring your lunch and a mug - tea and coffee are supplied.
Cost: $5 which helps towards the hall rental.
Workshops
These are held throughout the year and cater to all levels from beginners to advanced. Workshop tutors are chosen from local, interstate and occasionally international sources. Workshops may be held on Friendship Days or weekends at various venues in the Wollongong area. More information is available on the Workshops page.
